Stirling Literary Society hosts a monthly lecture series from September to May.

Now in its 23rd year, the new season offers a wide variety of talks.

If you wish to join the society or wish to receive a printed copy of the programme of lectures and outings please contact us using details which can be found on the Contact Us page of this site. 

All are welcome to attend one, some or all of the talks. Membership is not necessary. Students are welcome.Talks are held on Monday evenings, 7:30 at the Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum, Albert Place, Stirling. Talks usually last 40-50 minutes, followed by questions for the speaker and a lively discussion. Admission price £5. for non-members, £3. members.

This season’s programme includes talks by Professor Rory Watson, Angus Peter Campbell, James Robertson, Dr Donald Smith, Matthew Fitt, Denis Frize and Dr Karl Magee. Our special musical guest this season will be Cathy Costello

The Society aims to promote, encourage and deepen enjoyment of all branches of literature and media.
